Winston Tool Company has reconditioned top and bottom slitters for packaging and manufacturing operations across the Southeast for over 50 years. Every blade we sharpen is held to tight tolerances — so your slitting lines run cleaner, last longer, and produce less waste.

What We Sharpen

We recondition top slitters, bottom slitters, and a wide range of industrial blades used in paper, rubber, plastic, and film converting operations. Our process includes precision grinding to restore geometry, automatic deburring to remove edge burrs that cause tearing, and a final superfinish to Ra 5 or less for clean, consistent cuts.

Top slitter roundness is held to 0.005″ or less. Bottom slitter flatness is held to 0.002″ or less. These tolerances matter — even small deviations cause edge quality problems and accelerate wear on your knife holders.
