Our meticulous process ensures a roundness of 0.005 inches or less, with a superfinish to a Ra of 5 or less microns. Automatic deburring is included to guarantee edge quality without any burrs, rolled edges, nicks, or rough edges. We also provide edge protection for added durability.

For bottom slitters, we cater to all sizes, types, including split bands and multigroove plus, and materials. Our carbides are finished to a Ra of 3 or less microns, and we guarantee flatness to 0.002 inches or less. Edge quality is of utmost importance, and we ensure there are no burrs, roll overs, nicks, or roughness. Edge protection is provided for all slitters, except for multigrooves.

We also offer knives up to 96 inches in length, with superfinishing and a guarantee of edge quality. Our selection includes single bevel, double bevels, single edge, double edge, and we provide edge protection for added longevity.

KNIFE HOLDER REPAIR

Slitter knife holder inspection and repair is a crucial process for maintaining the performance and efficiency of slitting equipment. During the inspection, the knife holder is thoroughly examined to identify any issues or damage that may affect its functionality. This includes checking for wear and tear, misalignment, or any other signs of deterioration.

Once the inspection is complete, a detailed assessment is provided, outlining the necessary repairs and the associated costs. The repair process involves addressing any identified problems, such as replacing worn-out parts, realigning the knife holder, or fixing any other issues that may affect its performance.

The goal of the repair is to restore the knife holder to its optimal condition, ensuring precise and accurate slitting operations. Bench testing is conducted to ensure that the repaired knife holder functions correctly, delivering consistent and high-quality results.

By investing in regular inspection and repair of slitter knife holders, businesses can minimize downtime, prevent costly breakdowns, and ensure the continued efficiency of their slitting equipment.

WINDER INSPECTIONS

Our team of trained crews meticulously inspects winders to ensure they meet OEM specifications, have the correct set-up, and are properly aligned. We thoroughly address various aspects such as side load, cant angle, slitter depth, sheet penetration, hub condition, blade condition, trim removal, slitting geometry, contamination, air supply, and crew familiarity with all the correct settings.

During the inspection process, we pay close attention to blade and paper geometry, including cant angle, trim removal criteria, band penetration, paper support, overspeed, side load, wear on parts, runout, blade and hub condition, air leaks, pressure, blade contact, squareness, plumbness, and overall operational efficiency. Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of the winders is in optimal condition and functioning correctly.
